Veteran Nigerian actor Don Richard has dismissed viral reports claiming that he had d, assuring fans that he is alive and in le condition.
The false reports had circulated widely on social media on April 23, 2026, suggesting that the actor passed away after a prolonged battle with kidney related illness. The claims quickly gained traction before being publicly refuted by the actor himself.
In a video and message shared on his Instagram page on Friday, Don Richard expressed frustration over the spread of misinformation, thanking fans for their concern while confirming that he is “hale and hearty.”
He stated that there was nothing wrong with his health at the moment and criticized those responsible for spreading the false news, saying they would be held accountable morally for misleading the public.
“I am alive, hale and hearty. There is nothing wrong with me,” he said, reassuring supporters and urging the public to ignore fake reports circulating online.
The actor’s clarification comes months after he publicly appealed for financial assistance in July 2025, following serious health challenges linked to kidney disease. At the time, he revealed that he had sold personal assets including his house and cars to fund medical treatment.
Despite earlier health struggles, Don Richard’s latest statement confirms he is still undergoing recovery and remains active in communicating with fans.
