Public relations expert and CEO of Buzz Africa, Miracle Vincent, has stated that talent alone is no longer sufficient to guarantee success in today’s entertainment industry, emphasizing that perception management has become the true driver of visibility and long-term relevance.

Speaking during an interview, Vincent highlighted what he described as a growing imbalance in the creative space, where highly talented individuals often remain unnoticed while others with lesser ss dominate public attention. According to him, the difference lies not in ability but in how individuals are positioned and perceived.

“There’s a strange reality in entertainment nobody likes to admit. Some of the most talented creatives are invisible while less talented ones are constantly in demand. It’s not talent that is missing, it’s perception control,” he said.

He explained that strategic public relations plays a crucial role in shaping how creatives are viewed even before aunces engage with their work. By securing features, interviews, and media visibility, PR helps elish credibility and signals importance.

“PR makes people believe you matter before they even experience your work. It signals that this person is not random,” Vincent noted.

He further stressed the importance of social media as a tool for reinforcing identity through consistency and repetition. Rather than posting randomly, creatives should adopt a structured approach that builds familiarity and keeps them relevant in the minds of aunces.

“Social media keeps you alive in their mind. One builds credibility, the other builds familiarity. Together, they build memory,” he added.

Vincent also cautioned against chasing viral moments without a clear strategy, warning that such attention is often short-lived and ineffective for building lasting brands.
