Social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has alleged that Nigerian cryptocurrency entrepreneur Linus Williams Ifejirika, also known as Blord, was returned to prison shortly after being granted bail.
Blord had reportedly spent over two weeks at the Kuje Correctional Centre before securing bail on Friday over allegations linked to impersonation claims involving VeryDarkMan.
In a video shared on his official Facebook page, VeryDarkMan explained that although the court approved bail, Blord was unable to meet the conditions required for his release. According to him, one of the key requirements was the submission of an international passport.
He stated that efforts to produce the document on time were unsuccessful, as the passport could not be retrieved from Anambra State before the deadline. As a result, Blord was reportedly taken back to custody and is expected to remain there until the condition is fulfilled.
“I’m very happy that Blord was granted bail but unfortunately for him, he had to be taken back to the Kuje correctional center until Monday because he could not perfect his bail condition,” he said.
The development adds another layer to the ongoing situation involving the cryptocurrency businessman, with attention now focused on whether he will meet the bail requirements in the coming days.
