Evolution Records has officially unveiled its latest artiste, Divine Reo, at a formal introduction event held on April 12, 2026, at the Oriental Hotel Lagos.
The unveiling event brought together music industry stakeholders, media professionals, and fans who gathered to witness the introduction of the new act into Nigeria’s contemporary music scene. The programme featured live performances, networking sessions, and showcases designed to highlight Divine Reo’s vocal ability and stage presence.
During her performance, Divine Reo captivated the aunce with her storytelling approach to music, emphasizing emotional depth and relatability across different life experiences.
She described her sound as one rooted in real life experiences and emotional connection. “I make music that edifies and is relatable to everyone young or old. Wherever you are, you will definitely find value in it,” she said. “My songs reflect the phases people go through happiness, sadness, low moments and high moments. There is always soing to connect with.”
Speaking at the event, co founder of Evolution Records, Henry “Pundit” Kufre, stated that the label is focused on talent development without unnecessary pressure, emphasizing a supportive and family oriented structure for its artistes.
“Our goal is not to put pressure on our artiste or bully her in any way. We just want the world to see her talent,” he said. He also noted the label’s ambition to strengthen female representation in Nigeria’s music industry.
Another co founder, Dike Isaac, explained that Evolution Records was elished on passion rather than profit, with a long term vision centered on fairness, structure, and sustainable growth for its artistes.
The unveiling of Divine Reo marks a new phase for the label as it positions itself within Nigeria’s competitive music industry, with expectations high for the emerging artiste’s future projects.
