The TCL Technology and the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board have partnered with Falcon Golf Development Company to support the 2026 edition of the World Corporate Golf Challenge, as preparations for the tournament gather momentum in Nigeria.

The announcement was made by Remi Olukoya during a media briefing, where he highlighted growing corporate interest in the event and confirmed that several major organisations have already signed up as sponsors and participants.

According to Olukoya, the involvement of TCL brings added value to the tournament through its technology and lifestyle innovations, while NCDMB’s participation reflects continued support for corporate engagement platforms within Nigeria’s business and energy sectors. He added that other major partners include financial institutions, insurance firms, and multinational brands such as First Bank, Globus Bank, Pepsi, Jotun Paints, and Davisther Insurance Brokers.

The 2026 World Corporate Golf Challenge is being positioned as more than a sporting competition, but also a networking platform designed to connect executives, investors, and professionals in a relaxed environment. Organisers say the event has been redesigned to enhance business interactions alongside competitive golf.

This year’s tournament will take place at the prestigious Golf Section of Ikoyi Club 1938 from May 29 to May 31, 2026. The global finals are scheduled to be held later in October at Beijing Qinghe Bay Golf Country Club.

Organisers believe the strong corporate backing signals growing confidence in the event’s international profile, as Nigeria continues to strengthen its presence in global corporate sports networking.
