The Vice Chairman of the Justice Forum and Woman Leader of the All Progressives Congress in Igbogbo Bayeku Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, Mrs Ibiyemi Sanni, has denied reports suggesting she is opposing the alleged fourth term ambition of lawmaker Babajimi Benson.

In a statement released on Saturday, Sanni dismissed the claims as false and politically motivated, insisting that she remains a strong supporter of the federal lawmaker representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency.

She said attempts to associate her with internal opposition were “mischievous and condemnable,” adding that such narratives were aimed at creating tension within the party structure in Igbogbo Bayeku.

According to her, democracy allows both political aspiration and the freedom of constituents to decide their representation, warning against what she described as manufactured discontent within the party.

Sanni further urged members of the Justice Forum and APC stakeholders in the area to ignore the reports and continue supporting Benson, whom she credited with delivering developmental projects across the constituency.
