Arsenal have a crucial opportunity to reclaim the top spot in the Premier League this weekend, while rivals Manchester City shift focus to FA Cup duties and the relegation fight heats up.

The title race has reached a dramatic stage, with Arsenal and City level on 70 points after 33 matches. However, City currently lead the table on goals scored after edging the Gunners in recent weeks. With just five games remaining, every point is now decisive.

For Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, this weekend represents a chance to reset momentum after a dip in form. A win or even a draw at home against Newcastle United could send the North London side back to the summit, especially with City occupied in cup action.

Despite their recent slip, Arsenal still have a relatively favourable run in compared to City. However, history is not on their side. City, led by Pep Guardiola, have consistently converted late season leads into titles and remain firm favourites.

At the other end of the table, the battle for survival is reaching boiling point. Tottenham Hotspur sit in the relegation zone and are desperate for points after a long winless run. Under new boss Roberto De Zerbi, Spurs face a must win clash against already relegated Wolverhampton Wanderers.

West Ham United, just above the drop zone, will also be under pressure as they host Everton, while Nottingham Forest look to secure safety.

Meanwhile, the race for European qualification remains competitive. Clubs like Manchester United, Aston Villa, and Liverpool are well placed for Champions League spots, but Brighton and Hove Albion continue to push for a late breakthrough.

With the title, relegation, and European places all still undecided, the Premier League is heading for a thrilling finale.
