Osun State to Host First Creative Seminar with 700 Youth Registrations

About 700 in State have registered for the state’s ever creative seminar, which is targeted at driving . Mr. Bamikole Omisore, the Special to Governor Ademola Adeleke on Development (SDGs), announced this during a press briefing in Osogbo.

The seminar, to take from January 28 to 30 at the SDG Skills Acquisition Centre in Iragbiji, aims to harness creativity as a tool for economic and sustainable development. The program will specifically focus on Goals 8, 9, and 11 of the SDGs, which encompass decent work and economic , industry, innovation and infrastructure, and sustainable cities and communities, respectively.

Omisore emphasized that this initiative reflects Governor Adeleke’s ‘s dedication to promoting economic growth through innovation and creativity. The seminar’s theme, “Innovate, Create and Transform: Unlocking the Creative Economy for Sustainable Development,” underscores the event’s to demonstrate how creativity can contribute to both economic and sustainable development.

The seminar is a collaborative effort involving the of Innovation, Science and Technology, the Agency on Creativity, and Art, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, alongside private sector leaders and development partners. collective aim is to create a conference experience that will and equip young participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to contribute to Osun State’s economic through creative industries.
