Shehu Sani Advises Nigerians to Return Home After Trump Revokes 80,000 Visas

Former federal lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, has adviced Nigerian citizens and many other Africans whose United States visas were recently revoked by President Donald Trump’s administration to return home before they get arrested by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Reports indicates that Trump’s government has recently revoked about 80,000 visas since his administration into office in January 2025, claiming that the revoked visas includes: 12,000 linked to assault, 16,000 linked to driving under the influence, and 8,000 for students.

He further added that, “No matter how long you live in the comforts of an adopted home, you will someday be reminded that it’s not your father’s house”.
