The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, has affirmed that President Bola Tinubu’s youth empowerment initiatives are genuine efforts aimed at expanding opportunities for all Nigerian youths, regardless of political affiliation.

Speaking during an interactive session with youths from the APC Youth Wing and tertiary institutions in Abuja, Idris emphasized that programmes like the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) and the Three Million Technical Talent (3MTT) initiative are designed to be inclusive and accessible to all Nigerians.

He highlighted that over 788,000 students currently benefit from NELFUND, with more than N250 billion committed to tuition support and upkeep across tertiary institutions nationwide. The 3MTT programme aims to train three million Nigerians in high-demand technical and digital skills to boost employability and competitiveness in the global digital economy.
