Experts Urge Early Start and Purpose Driven Use of AI in Content Creation

Media professionals and academics have called on students to embrace early preparation and intentional use of digital tools to succeed in the fast evolving world of content creation. The call was made during a seminar hosted by the Mass Communication Students Association of Bab University as part of activities marking their departmental week.

The seminar themed Media Conglomeration in the Digital Age and Its Impact on Mass Communication Specializations brought together industry experts from print broadcasting and public relations to share insights on the cing media landscape.

Among the speakers were Edgar Eriakha Dorcas Taiwo Ijeoma Balogun and Timothy Oguneyo who emphasized the importance of adaptability creativity and innovation.

In her presentation Taiwo encouraged students to take advantage of their current position and begin building their careers immediately rather than waiting for perfect conditions. She stressed that artificial intelligence should be embraced as a supportive tool rather than a substitute for human creativity.

Balogun who leads Redrick Public Relations Limited highlighted how starting early can shape long term success drawing from her own journey in building a communications brand across Africa.

Oguneyo noted that while digital media dominates current trends traditional print still offers opportunities for growth and recognition. He also addressed issues such as copyright media ownership and content distribution urging students to develop a unique voice and maintain consistency in their work.

Eriakha known for his storytelling and podcast Why Am I Still Single shared practical insights from broadcasting and content creation encouraging students to connect with aunces through authentic storytelling.

Speakers collectively acknowledged that media conglomeration has transformed how content is created distributed and consumed while opening doors to wider reach and technological advancement. They advised students to build digital ss embrace innovation and uphold ethical standards to remain relevant in the industry.
