Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has been banned from driving for six months after breaking a 20 mph speed limit in London. The 51-year-old, who guided Palace to FA Cup glory last May, was caught by a speed camera driving 29 mph on Old Kent Road in Bermondsey, south London, last July.

Court records revealed Glasner had previous driving offences, making him eligible for an automatic ban. He pleaded guilty in writing to the offence and submitted a handwritten note promising not to break the law again, foregoing an attempt to convince magistrates to spare him disqualification.

A magistrate imposed the six-month ban, alongside a £660 fine, £130 costs, and a £264 victim surcharge. Glasner accepted responsibility, stating he would take steps to ensure it does not happen again.

Palace are currently battling relegation in the Premier League, with a key match against London rivals Tottenham looming later this week.
