22-year-old arrested in double homicide case of Robin Kaye, former ‘American Idol’ music supervisor, and husband

Robin Kaye, a longtime music supervisor for “American ,” and husband, Deluca, were found dead in their Encino, California, home on July 14, 2025. Both victims, 70, had suffered gunshot wounds. The discovery was made by police during a welfare check after the couple’s family reported losing contact with them.

Authorities arrested 22-year-old Raymond Boodarian in connection with the deaths. Investigations that Boodarian had entered the couple’s home through an unlocked door while they were away on July 10. Upon their return, a confrontation ensued, to the fatal shootings. Boodarian fled the but was shortly after.
