APC Chieftain Urges Opposition Leaders to Provide Solutions Amid Economic Hardship

Illiyasu Musa Kwankwaso, a of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has called on opposition leaders, including former vice president Atiku Abubakar, candidate Obi, and the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) leader Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, to focus on helping Nigerians of economic hardship instead of consistently criticizing the Federal Government. Speaking to reporters in Kano on Thursday, he acknowledged the economic facing Nigerians but defended President ‘s administration, stating it is making to improve conditions.

Kwankwaso expressed his dissatisfaction with the opposition leaders’ approach, arguing that instead of offering constructive support and solutions, they engage in and destructive criticism that distracts the government from its mission. “Let us see their contributions; they should proffer solutions and be supportive, rather than criticising destructively,” he stated.

He questioned the individual efforts of these leaders in addressing the challenges by Nigerians. Specifically, he asked what Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, as a presidential candidate, has done for his immediate constituents and neighboring like Jigawa and Katsina to alleviate the suffering of his NNPP supporters. “What is their individual contributions to the wellbeing of Nigerians at this critical period?” he asked.

Kwankwaso criticized his namesake for focusing on political rather than providing tangible relief, particularly highlighting his against the state government in Kano. “Rather, he is busy fighting his own government at the state level, especially in Kano state,” he .
