A tragic incident in Abocho, Dekina Government Area of Kogi , has resulted in the death of a 70-year-old , Malam Abu Yusuf, to a thunderstrike. The unfortunate event occurred around 5:40 PM on Thursday, coinciding with a downpour in the .

Residents have been left in and mourning following the incident. An indigene of Abocho, Dansoho Sulaiman, expressed disbelief, stating that Yusuf was in health to the tragic occurrence. recounted the leading to the incident, saying, “Someone very close to the just to inform me of his death.
