The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has sent a heartfelt message to former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose as he turns 65.
In a message shared through his spokesperson, Lere Olayinka, Wike described Fayose as a “valuable friend and brother” who always speaks his mind and never hides where he stands on matters.
Wike praised Fayose’s role in Nigerian politics, saying he has been a strong figure over the years. He said turning 65 shows “the grace the Almighty God has bestowed” on Fayose and is a reminder that he still has more to give to the country.
Wike wished him “good health” and “fruitful” years ahead, calling him a “dependable ally” whose words can be trusted. He added, “Ayodele my younger brother, may you reach the age of your elder brother in good health,” and prayed for “immeasurable blessings” in his life.
He ended the message with a simple but strong note: “To a dependable ally, whose yes is yes, and no is no, happy Birthday.”
