The United Football League (UFL) has announced an expansive plan for its 2026 season, which includes the introduction of three new franchises and the rebranding of two existing teams. The new teams—Columbus Aviators, Louisville Kings, and Orlando Storm—are set to debut in the spring of 2026, playing at established soccer venues: Historic Crew Stadium, Lynn Family Stadium, and Inter&Co Stadium, respectively. This initiative aligns with the UFL’s goal of delivering an authentic gameday experience in fan-centric locations.

In addition to the new franchises, two existing teams will undergo significant changes: the Arlington Renegades will be rebranded as the Dallas Renegades and relocate to Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas, while the Houston Roughnecks will become the Houston Gamblers, moving to Shell Energy Stadium in Houston. These rebranding efforts are designed to bolster the league’s presence in important markets and enhance fan engagement.

The UFL will also see the departure of three teams: Memphis Showboats, Michigan Panthers, and San Antonio Brahmas. With the beginning of its third season scheduled for March 27, 2026, the league plans to unveil a 43-game schedule soon. The format will see the top four teams progress to the playoffs, transitioning to a unified eight-team league structure.

Season ticket memberships for the new teams are now available, providing fans the opportunity to secure their spots ahead of the season. Current season ticket holders are expected to receive updates on their membership status. Overall, the UFL aims to enhance its competitive landscape and create an exciting football experience for fans in 2026.
