A man named Dada Adesonye has d by after reportedly ing himself from a tree in the Afami area of Imasayi, located in the Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State. The incident was discovered in the early hours of Friday by a worker in the vicinity.
Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the incident in a telephone conversation with a correspondent. Upon receiving information about the suspected , police officers promptly visited the scene. During their investigation, they found several items, including a payment card and a sum of N2,000, near the body.
Odutola stated, “On October 18, 2024, at approximately 8:27 am, the Divisional Police Officer reported a suspected incident. An Assistant at Dangote Cement Transport in Ibese informed the Dangote Police Post that he discovered a lifeless body around 8:10 am.”
The police are continuing their investigation to understand the circumstances surrounding Adesonye’s death.
