Tinubu Congratulates Senator Aminu Tambuwal on 60th Birthday

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated Senator Aminu Tambuwal, a prominent politician, lawyer and Senator representing Sokoto South Senatorial District, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

In a statement issued on Saturday by his spokesman, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, the President commended Tambuwal for his years of service to Sokoto State and the nation at large. He recalled that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain served as Speaker of the House of Representatives between 2011 and 2015 and later as a two-term Governor of Sokoto State from 2015 to 2023.

President Tinubu acknowledged Tambuwal’s contributions to Nigeria’s democratic development, describing him as a leader who has consistently demonstrated commitment to nation-building and the strengthening of democratic institutions.

The President also praised Tambuwal’s role in public service and legislative leadership, noting that his experience and dedication have continued to shape national discourse and governance.

He wished the senator good health, many more years of fulfillment, and an even brighter political future as he continues to contribute to the growth and development of the country.
