Spain Announces Plan to Grant Legal Status to Thousands of Undocumented Migrants

Spain’s government confirmed on January 27 that it will move forward with a plan to regularize the legal status of tens of thousands of undocumented migrants, aiming to address labor shortages and improve access to basic rights and services. The announcement followed cabinet level discussions on migration and workforce needs.
