Princess Oladunni Odu Commends Tinubu For Appointing Jimoh Ibrahim As UN Representative

Former Secretary to the State Government in Ondo State, Princess Oladunni Odu, has praised Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Jimoh Ibrahim as Nigeria Permanent Representative to the United Nations.

In a statement released in Akure, Odu described the appointment as a strong indication of President Tinubu commitment to placing capable and experienced individuals in strategic national positions. She said the decision reflects confidence in Ibrahim ability to represent Nigeria effectively at the global stage.

Odu who served as the first female Secretary to the State Government in Ondo State noted that Senator Ibrahim possesses the knowledge and international exposure required for the diplomatic responsibility. According to her his experience in governance business and international engagement makes him well suited for the role.

She congratulated both Ibrahim and the country on the appointment noting that Nigeria will benefit from his contributions at international forums where major global decisions are discussed. She expressed confidence that he will represent the nation interests with dedication professionalism and integrity.

Odu also pointed out that the people of Ondo South Senatorial District are particularly proud of the new role given to Ibrahim. The district which he previously represented in the National Assembly according to her sees the appointment as recognition of his service and leadership.

She said many people in the region believe his new diplomatic responsibility will further strengthen Nigeria voice in international discussions especially on issues affecting developing countries.

While wishing him success Odu prayed that God would grant him wisdom strength and guidance as he takes on the responsibility of representing Nigeria before the international community.

She added that the appointment serves as encouragement to many Nigerians who believe in hard work dedication and service to the country.
