President Tinubu to Present 2026 Budget to National Assembly on December 19

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will present the 2026 Appropriation Bill to a joint session of the National Assembly on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 2:00 pm.

This was announced in a statement on Wednesday by Essien Eyo Essien, Secretary for Human Resources and Staff Development, on behalf of the Clerk to the National Assembly, Kamoru Ogunlana.

The statement instructed that all accredited persons must be at their duty posts by 11:00 am to gain access to the National Assembly complex due to security reasons. Non-accredited individuals are advised to stay away from the National Assembly on that day.

Additionally, except for the Clerk of the National Assembly (CNA), Deputy Clerk (DCNA), Chief Security (CS), Chief Human Resources (CHR), and their deputies, all other staff members are required to park their vehicles at the Annex or the new car park by the NASS Gate.

The statement emphasized the importance of compliance with these instructions by all concerned.
