Netanyahu Mocks Death Rumours in Video as Iran Issues Threat

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has dismissed rumours circulating on social media that he had d, posting a short video on Sunday in which he sarcastically joked about the claims.

In the video shared on his official account on X the Israeli leader appeared relaxed while sitting at a cafe outside Jerusalem. As he was handed a cup of coffee he joked about the rumours saying he was “dead for coffee,” using a Hebrew expression that means loving soing intensely.

Netanyahu also responded to online speculation suggesting that a recent televised address by him had been generated using artificial intelligence. Some users claimed the video showed him with six fingers on one hand which fueled conspiracy theories that the clip was fake.

Addressing the claims directly the prime minister raised his hands toward the camera and joked “Do you want to count the number of fingers?”

Beyond the humour Netanyahu also delivered a serious message urging Israeli citizens to follow security instructions in the event of incoming rocket s. He praised the resilience of the public saying their determination strengthens the government the military and the country’s intelligence agencies.

In his remarks Netanyahu referenced the work of Mossad Israel’s foreign intelligence service stating that ongoing operations were being carried out behind the scenes.

“We are doing things that I cannot share at this moment but we are striking Iran very hard and also Lebanon,” he said without providing further operational details.

The comments come amid escalating tensions in the region involving Israel Iran and groups operating from Lebanon.

Meanwhile the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a fresh threat against Netanyahu. Iran’s state linked Islamic Republic News Agency reported on Sunday that the IRGC vowed to pursue and the Israeli leader if he was still alive.

The exce highlights rising tensions as hostilities between Israel and Iran continue to intensify across the region.
