MTN Foundation Awards Scholarships to 13,717 Nigerians in 13 Years

The MTN Foundation has once again demonstrated to corporate social responsibility (CSR) by awarding scholarships to 13,717 Nigerians over the past 13 . The announcement was made by the Foundation’s Director, Mrs. Aishatu Sadauki, who that these beneficiaries are spread across the 36 states of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), reinforcing the Foundation’s pledge to support and opportunities for Nigerians nationwide.

Mrs. Sadauki highlighted that the MTN Foundation views the provision of scholarships as an integral part of its CSR . These initiatives are aimed at building trust between MTN and the communities it serves. The Foundation’s scholarship programs target at different of education, supporting them in various fields, including science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), as well as the arts and social sciences.

The scholarships have not only helped to alleviate financial burdens for thousands of Nigerian students but have also encouraged academic excellence, as many of the recipients are selected on merit. The Foundation’s commitment to education is not limited to scholarships alone.
