Tadeo Allende starred in the match, scoring a hat-trick that increased his postseason total to eight goals, tying the league record for the most goals in a single playoff run.

The scoring began in the 12th minute when Allende received a long pass from Sergio Busquets and launched a powerful shot past NYCFC goalkeeper Matt Freese. Just eleven minutes later, Jordi Alba’s precise cross allowed Allende to double the lead with a header. Allende completed his hat-trick in the 89th minute, finishing a well-placed pass from Yannick Bright.

Inter Miami’s offensive might was evident, outscoring their playoff opponents 13-1 in three matches. They are set to host the MLS Cup Final on December 6, 2025, against the Vancouver Whitecaps, who advanced after beating San Diego FC 3-1 in the Western Conference Final. This landmark victory not only highlights Inter Miami’s ascent in the league but also sets the stage for a thrilling championship match.
