Global mobility platform inDrive has been ranked the world second most downloaded ride hailing app for the fourth consecutive year, according to new data released by market intelligence firm Sensor Tower.

The report also shows that inDrive climbed to fourth position globally in overall travel app downloads, up from fifth place in 2023. The improvement reflects growing user engagement as the company expands its services and advances toward a super app model.

Operating in 48 countries, inDrive has recorded more than 400 million app downloads since launch and is now active in 1,065 cities worldwide. The platform has facilitated over 8 billion transactions, driven largely by its peer to peer pricing model that allows drivers and riders to negotiate fares directly within the app.

Sensor Tower ranked inDrive number one in the travel category by downloads in nine countries, including Peru and Pakistan. The app also placed among the top three most downloaded travel apps in 22 countries, highlighting its strong adoption across emerging and established markets.

In 2025, inDrive accelerated its diversification strategy beyond ride hailing, adding intercity transport, courier and grocery delivery, and financial services. The company says advanced technology, including artificial intelligence and predictive analytics, supports personalised experiences while maintaining its focus on fairness, transparency, and user choice.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer Arsen Tomsky described the ranking as validation of the platform value and user trust, noting that the company remains committed to expanding services that improve everyday life.
