The Biodun Coker Foundation has officially inaugurated a modern Information and Communication Technology centre at Holy Trinity Primary School to equip pupils with essential digital skills. The initiative is part of the foundation’s commitment to improving education and fostering technological literacy among young students in Lagos Island.

Founder Biodun Coker explained that the school, which has educated generations for 135 years, had never had a dedicated digital learning facility until now. The new centre features 20 high-performance computers, advanced projection technology, and upgraded electrical systems to ensure a comprehensive learning experience.

“This centre belongs to you. Inside that room, you are not just learning computers; you are also learning the language of the future,” Coker told students, urging them to dream big and think globally.

School head teacher Anthony Dasilver said the ICT centre has transformed the school, noting that pupils previously had to travel elsewhere for computer lessons. Representatives from Lagos State education authorities, including Stephen Taiwo and Kudus Abari, assured the deployment of qualified computer teachers to maximize the benefits of the centre.

Deputy Chairman of Lagos State APC, Moshood Mayegun, praised the foundation for its dedication to education and community development. Alumni and community members also encouraged students to embrace digital learning and pursue excellence. The centre is expected to serve as a hub for schools across Isale-Eko, promoting innovation and digital literacy.
