Aradel Holdings Plc has achieved a major safety milestone, recording 10 million man-hours without a lost-time injury (LTI) across its operations as of December 21, 2025. The accomplishment spans all subsidiaries and comes amid expanded operational activity, reflecting a deeply embedded health, safety, and environment (HSE) culture within the company.

In a statement, Aradel attributed the achievement to structured safety initiatives, proactive leadership, and employee engagement. Its annual HSE Week, now in its ninth year, continues to reinforce vigilance and sustain safety performance across the organisation.

The company has also attained ISO 14001:2015 certification for environmental management and ISO 9001:2015 certification for quality management. Aradel is on track to achieve ISO 45001:2018 certification for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, further demonstrating its commitment to global safety standards.

Commenting on the milestone, CEO and Managing Director Adegbite Falade said, “Aradel is firmly committed to creating a workplace where safety is our top priority, because for us, the first measure of success is safety. Achieving 10 million man-hours without LTI demonstrates the discipline, collaboration, and dedication of everyone working across our business. At Aradel, we proceed at the speed of safety.”

The company has implemented a ‘Stop Work’ mandate that empowers employees and contractors to halt any activity perceived as unsafe, alongside Golden Safety Rules designed to promote a “see something, say something” culture.

In addition, Aradel has rolled out SAP EHS Management, a digital solution for occupational health, workplace safety, and environmental compliance. The company reaffirmed its commitment to delivering sustainable energy solutions that support Nigeria’s economic growth, strengthen operational performance, and set new safety benchmarks across the energy sector.

This milestone comes shortly after Aradel marked 20 years of continuous production in August 2025 while maintaining an exemplary HSE record, underscoring its long-standing focus on safety, quality, and sustainability.
