Female members of the All Progressives Congress in Ireland under the Renewed Hope Women’s Network have unveiled plans to mobilise voters across Nigeria in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election. The initiative, tagged “Initiative for Inclusive Grassroots Development and Political Participation,” will be implemented across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Convener Joyce Viyanto Antonza Ibrahim, who also leads APC Professional Women in Ireland, explained that the programme seeks to address voter apathy and increase participation by sensitising women and youths of voting age. She noted that outreach efforts had already commenced to promote awareness of the Renewed Hope Agenda and Tinubu’s accomplishments while highlighting his plans if re-elected.

Ibrahim emphasised that the network would engage grassroots communities in all six geopolitical zones, focusing on local governments and wards to secure votes. She said the programme bridges diaspora experience with grassroots action and aligns closely with the administration’s priorities of inclusive governance, citizen engagement, and political empowerment.

The initiative also acknowledges the contributions of Her Excellency Oluremi Tinubu and the APC National Women Leader in inspiring women’s political participation. Ibrahim expressed her personal commitment to ensuring the project strengthens women’s involvement in politics and supports effective delivery of the Renewed Hope Agenda across Nigerian communities.
