Skales Reveals He Wrote Hit Songs for Wizkid During Their EME Days

Popular singer Raoul Njeng-Njeng, known by stage name Skales, has claimed that he co-wrote several for his fellow Wizkid during their time at Empire Mates Entertainment (EME). In a recent interview on the Curiosity Made Me Ask, hosted by content creator Bae U Barbie, Skales opened up about his collaborative efforts with Wizkid, revealing that he contributed to the success of Wizkid’s debut album Star, including writing the bonus track “Wiz Party.”

Skales explained that during their time at EME, and teamwork were common among the label’s artists. He emphasized that the of writing songs for each other was a collective effort. “Back in EME, we were a team, so we used to write songs for each other. He wrote ‘Mukulu’ for me, and I wrote his song ‘Wiz Party,’” Skales said. He further underscored that their working relationship was mutually beneficial, with each artist contributing to the other’s and success.
