Non Indigenes in Ondo State Pledge One Million Votes for Tinubu in 2027 Election

Hundreds of non indigenes residing in Ondo State have declared their support for the re election of President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general election. The group made the pledge during a rally held in Akure the Ondo State capital on Tuesday.

The residents drawn from different parts of Nigeria and living across the 18 local government areas of the state promised to mobilise more than one million votes in support of the president during the next presidential election.

Speaking at the rally the President of the Association of Non Indigenes in Ondo State Mrs Usor Fidelis said members of the association had resolved to work collectively to ensure the president secures another term in office.

According to her the gathering was organised as a formal declaration of support for the leadership and administration of President Tinubu. She noted that many non indigenes who have made Ondo State their home appreciate the efforts of the president in steering the country through a critical period.

Fidelis said the rally also symbolised unity and a shared vision for national progress. She explained that the non indigene community in the state consists of traders professionals artisans and entrepreneurs who contribute significantly to the economic growth and social harmony of the state.

She added that members of the community remain committed to promoting peace unity and national development across the country.

Also speaking at the rally the Coordinator of the Progressive Network for Tinubu Mr Olumide Obadele commended the non indigene communities for endorsing the president ahead of the next election.

Obadele revealed that during the 2023 presidential election non indigenes in Ondo State contributed about thirty percent of the total votes received by Tinubu in the state. He expressed confidence that the figure would increase significantly in 2027.

He further urged members of the communities to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards in preparation for the election and to continue supporting the president in the interest of national development.
