Tennessee Titans cornerback L’Jarius Sneed has been indicted on a Class A misdemeanor charge for failing to report a felony, related to a shooting incident on December 6, 2024, at a car dealership in Carrollton, Texas. A Dallas County grand jury alleges that Sneed witnessed a shooting involving his personal assistant, Tekonzae Warmek Williams, who is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. As per Texas law, Sneed was obligated to report this felony.

In addition to the criminal charge, Sneed and Williams are named in a civil lawsuit filed by victims Christian Nshimiyimana and Avi Ahmed, who claim they suffered bodily injury, emotional distress, and negligence from the incident. The plaintiffs seek over $1 million in damages, alleging that Sneed and Williams fired shots at Nshimiyimana while he was inside a vehicle, but no injuries were reported.

Sneed, who previously played four seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs and won two Super Bowls, joined the Titans in 2024. During his time with the Titans, he recorded 26 tackles and three pass breakups in seven starts before being placed on injured reserve on October 23, 2025, due to a quadriceps injury.

The Titans organization has acknowledged the situation and is in contact with NFL security, but has declined to make further comments as the investigation continues. As legal proceedings unfold, the future of Sneed’s career with the Titans remains uncertain, with both the team and the NFL closely monitoring developments.
