The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has reiterated that the Peoples Democratic Party PDP remains a single united entity, dismissing claims of factional divisions within the party.

Wike made the statement on Wednesday in Abuja while addressing journalists after inspecting ongoing infrastructure projects across the territory. His remarks come amid ongoing discussions about reconciliation efforts within the party ahead of its upcoming national convention.

According to the minister, it is normal for individuals in any political organization to have grievances, but such differences should not be mistaken for a structural split. He emphasized that there is no separate camp within the PDP, insisting that the party continues to function as one body.

Wike noted that reconciliation efforts are ongoing and can continue even after the scheduled convention, which is set to hold on March 29 and 30. He explained that the event does not hinder dialogue among members, but rather provides an opportunity to strengthen unity and chart a way forward.
