Victor Osimhen was on target as Galatasaray secured a hard-fought 3-1 victory over Fatih Karagümrük in a Turkish Super Lig match at the Atatürk Olimpiyat Stadium on Saturday night.
The defending champions started brilliantly, with Gabriel Sara opening the scoring inside the first minute. However, the hosts equalized in the 27th minute through Baris Kalayci, bringing the game back on level terms before halftime.
Galatasaray came out stronger after the break, with Sara netting his second goal early in the second half to restore the lead. Osimhen then extended the advantage in the 55th minute, calmly finishing to mark his 50th goal for Galatasaray.
The Nigerian forward now has 7 league goals this season and 13 across all competitions in 18 appearances.
The victory keeps Galatasaray top of the Super Lig table, maintaining a four-point lead over rivals Fenerbahçe.
