Turkey has called for deescalation and restraint following recent airspace restrictions and increased military movements in neighboring regions. Turkish officials said heightened tensions risk further destabilizing an already fragile security environment and could disrupt civilian aviation and regional trade.

The Foreign Ministry stressed the importance of dialogue and adherence to international law, urging all parties involved to avoid actions that could escalate into direct confrontation. Ankara said it is closely monitoring developments and remains in contact with regional partners and international allies.

Officials also noted that airspace disruptions have begun affecting commercial flight routes, forcing airlines to reroute aircraft and raising concerns about passenger safety and economic impact. Turkey emphasized that maintaining open and secure air corridors is essential for regional stability.

Turkey reiterated its position that diplomatic engagement remains the most effective path to reducing tensions and preventing miscalculations. Authorities said they would continue efforts to mediate and support initiatives aimed at restoring calm.
