Trump Warns of Long-Range Tomahawk Missiles for Ukraine if Negotiations Collapse

In a recent White House meeting, President Donald Trump informed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that the U.S. would not supply long-range Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine.

This decision followed discussions between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, where Trump underscored his focus on diplomacy to address the Ukrainian conflict. The meeting with Zelensky was described as tense; Zelensky urged for the missiles, while Trump voiced concerns about exacerbating the conflict. He emphasized the risks associated with supplying such advanced weaponry, suggesting it could undermine ongoing peace negotiations.

Trump now states that House Republicans ought to vote for the release of Epstein documents.

After the meeting, Zelensky engaged with European leaders who were left bewildered by Trump’s apparent shift in U.S. policy. U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer proposed the idea of creating a peace plan for Ukraine, inspired by Trump’s 20-point plan for Gaza, and suggested collaboration with the U.S.

This development signifies a notable change in the U.S. approach to the Ukraine crisis, reflecting a renewed commitment to diplomatic solutions instead of military escalation. The international community is closely observing these developments, hoping for a peaceful resolution to the ongoing conflict.
