Trump Says Iranians May Eventually Rise Against Government After US and Israeli Strikes

President Donald Trump has expressed confidence that the people of Iran could eventually rise up against their government following military strikes carried out by the United States and Israel, although he acknowledged that such a development may not happen immediately.

In an interview aired on Fox News Radio on Friday, Trump said that while a popular uprising is possible, it would be extremely difficult for civilians to challenge an elished government without access to weapons.

“I really think that’s a big hurdle to climb for people that don’t have weapons. I think it’s a very big hurdle,” Trump said during the interview.

The former US president added that despite the challenges faced by ordinary citizens, he believes that ce in Iran could eventually happen. However, he cautioned that such a development might take time rather than occurring immediately after the strikes.
