President Bola Tinubu is hosting state governors to a Ramadan Iftar dinner at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The event, taking place at the Presidential Banquet Hall, brought together governors, deputy governors, and senior government officials to break the day fast in the spirit of unity and reflection during the holy month of Ramadan.
Among the governors who arrived at the Villa before 7 pm were Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, Monday Okpebholo of Edo State, Usman Ododo of Kogi State, Babagana Zulum of Borno State, Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State, Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto State, Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State, Mohammed Bago of Niger State, Umar Namadi of Jigawa State, Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State, Agbu Kefas of Taraba State, and Bassey Otu of Cross River State. The Deputy Governor of Bauchi State is also in attendance.
Also present are Vice President Kashim Shettima and Chief of Staff to the President Femi Gbajabiamila, alongside cabinet members.
The Iftar dinner forms part of the President annual Ramadan tradition of hosting political leaders. During previous gatherings, President Tinubu emphasised unity, selfless leadership, and the need for governors and ministers to prioritise improving the lives of citizens while promoting national cohesion beyond ethnic and religious lines.
