As the holiday season approaches, streaming platforms are rolling out exciting new content from December 1–7, 2025. Notable movies include “Jay Kelly,” a comedic drama starring George Clooney as a movie star facing midlife regrets, directed by Noah Baumbach and featuring Adam Sandler and Laura Dern. Releasing on December 5, it promises to explore themes of fame and family.

On Paramount+, “The Final Reckoning” debuts on December 4, marking Tom Cruise’s return as Ethan Hunt in the latest “Mission: Impossible” installment. Directed by Christopher McQuarrie, this film concludes the narrative arc set in motion by “Dead Reckoning Part One,” delivering intense action and suspense.

Prime Video’s “Oh. What. Fun.” features Michelle Pfeiffer as a matriarch who goes missing after years of organizing Christmas for her unappreciative family. Directed by Michael Showalter and releasing on December 3, it also stars Felicity Jones and Chloë Grace Moretz.

In music, the Zac Brown Band releases “Love & Fear” on December 5, collaborating with Snoop Dogg, Dolly Parton, and Marcus King. To celebrate, they will perform at the Sphere in Las Vegas. Also on December 5, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds will release “Live God,” a compilation featuring live renditions and an online exhibition showcasing 300 pieces related to Cave’s career.
