The President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a leader with vision and foresight, highlighting the impact of his administration’s policies on Nigeria’s development.

Speaking on Friday night at the 2026 Elective National Convention of the ruling All Progressives Congress at Eagle Square in Abuja, Akpabio emphasized that good governance under Tinubu’s leadership is what continues to attract Nigerians to the APC.

“What is attracting all of us to the APC today is good governance,” Akpabio said. He praised the President for removing fuel subsidy, harmonizing multiple exce rates, implementing educational reforms, and creating opportunities for rural Nigerians to access tertiary education.

The Senate President also highlighted Tinubu’s achievements in agriculture, infrastructure, and transportation, noting the development of railways connecting Lagos to Ibadan, the Ajaokuta corridor, and coastal roads in the Niger Delta. “In you, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, from what you have done transforming Lagos, transforming many states, building men across the Federation, you are one man that has sight and vision,” he added.
