Renewed Hope Network Launches Nationwide Mobilization for APC Ahead of 2027 Elections

The Renewed Hope Network has officially commenced nationwide grassroots mobilization in support of Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election. The strategic decision followed a high level meeting with the technical team of the network, led by seasoned Okpokwu Ogenyi, a former Senior Special Assistant to the APC National Chairman on Civil Society and Support Groups, and diplomat Tunji John Asaolu.

Deputy Director General of the APC Support Groups Council, Dr. Ak Peters, told Vanguard that the TRN is powered by former Abdulaziz Yari, who currently serves as senator representing Zamfara West. The network is being positioned as a major platform for engaging grassroots supporters across the country.

As part of its early strategic activities, the network has begun mobilizing Polling Unit Canvassers nationwide, elishing a foundation for robust voter engagement ahead of the January 16, 2027 election. Peters described the level of acceptability of the TRN among Nigerians as “unprecedented” and emphasized that the APC Support Groups Council is fully aligned with the initiative.

The TRN has already formalized partnerships with 1,500 of the over 3,500 registered APC support groups, with plans to bring an additional 2,000 groups on board by Easter. Peters said the network is committed to building a formidable grassroots movement that will secure a second term for President Tinubu, with efforts coordinated under the leadership of Senator Yari.

He reiterated that no effort will be spared in mobilizing Nigerians to ensure President Tinubu is sworn in for a second term on May 29, 2027, highlighting the network’s commitment to nationwide political engagement.
