Nigerian actress Regina Daniels has reportedly surrendered herself for a drug test, nearly three months after her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, accused her of substance abuse.
Sharing a video on Instagram from the hospital, Daniels said, “Hi guys, so I’m here at the hospital, I’m about to run my drug test.”
The development comes amid a highly publicized personal dispute. In October 2025, Daniels had accused Nwoko of domestic violence and abuse, claims he denied. In turn, Nwoko accused Daniels of drug use, claiming to possess her medical records.
The controversy intensified after Daniels’ co-wife, Laila Charani, alleged that the actress introduced her to drugs. An alleged medical report from Serenity Royale Hospital surfaced online, claiming toxic levels of marijuana, morphine, opiates, cocaine, and alcohol in Daniels’ system.
Serenity Royale Hospital, however, denied leaking any laboratory results, stating: “We wish to state clearly that the publication containing classified information of Mrs Nwoko Regina did not emanate from us and respectfully request the public to disregard same.”
The drug test marks the latest development in a personal and public dispute that has attracted significant media attention.
