General Overseer of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, has called on Nigerian leaders to become agents of change and inspire citizens toward national development.

Speaking to journalists upon arrival at Port Harcourt International Airport, Kumuyi emphasized that leaders occupy a strategic position to influence communities and citizens, which can ultimately reshape the nation’s socio economic landscape. His remarks came ahead of the Global Crusade themed ‘Turning Point’ scheduled to hold from Wednesday February 25 to Sunday at the Deeper Life Campground in Rumudara, on the outskirts of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

“Turning Point is God’s direction for individuals. Those individuals become agents of turning points in their communities and when people that have a say in the way the country is governed have a turning point too, it’s definitely going to affect every other thing,” Pastor Kumuyi said. He stressed that true national change begins with individual renewal and that God’s touch on lives will impact policies and the economy of communities and the country.
