The Osun State Police Command has made a significant breakthrough in its to combat illegal associated with the Yoruba movement. During a suspects’ parade at the Command headquarters in Osogbo on Wednesday, Police Public Officer Giwa-Alade Emmanuel announced the arrest of several linked to the banned group.

Among those paraded were 61--old Fagbayi Oluwafemi, 63-year-old Joy Faseyeku, and 64-year-old Alabede Janet. The arrests come as of a broader crackdown on the Yoruba Nation, which has been banned by the Nigerian due to its advocacy for the secession of the Yoruba-speaking regions.
