Victor Osimhen delivered a stunning performance on Friday night, scoring a dramatic 93rd-minute bicycle kick to hand Galatasaray a 3-2 victory over Samsunspor in a tense Turkish Super Lig clash at RAMS Park.

Back in action after recovering from a hamstring injury, the Nigerian striker made an instant impact. He netted twice, including the spectacular late winner that sent the home fans into a frenzy and kept Galatasaray at the top of the league table.

The match began with Galatasaray taking a 2-0 lead through Leroy Sané and Osimhen. But Samsunspor refused to back down. Goals from Anthony Musaba and Emre Kılınç brought the visitors level, and for a while, they looked the stronger side in the second half.

Just when it seemed the game would end in a draw, Osimhen pulled off a moment of brilliance in stoppage time, sealing the win with an acrobatic finish that left the crowd stunned.

Samsunspor’s president, Yüksel Yıldırım, despite the loss, had high praise for Osimhen. “We brought it back to 2-2 and thought it would end that way. Then Victor Osimhen showed why he’s an €80 million player. No one else in Türkiye could have scored that goal,” he said.

Osimhen now has five goals in ten league matches this season, with Samsunspor proving to be his favorite opponents he’s scored five times in just three games against them, including four goals at RAMS Park.

Galatasaray’s win keeps them four points clear of Fenerbahçe at the top of the table. With a Champions League showdown against Monaco on the horizon, manager Okan Buruk will be counting on Osimhen’s return to form to lead the charge.
