Nigeria’s ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as its sole candidate for the 2027 presidential election. This announcement came during a stakeholders’ meeting in Talata Mafara, Zamfara State, where party leaders unanimously supported Tinubu’s candidacy through a voice vote involving representatives from all local government areas and wards in the state. Similarly, in Kano State, a meeting of stakeholders led by former APC National Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje resulted in a collective endorsement for Tinubu, emphasizing party unity and support for the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
These endorsements are part of a broader initiative by various APC factions and support groups, such as the BAT Vanguard, which has pledged to mobilize 10 million votes for Tinubu’s re-election.
