Nigeria film industry has recorded total profits exceeding ₦30 billion in the past three years, reflecting strong growth in box office sales. The surge has been driven by expanding audiences and a dynamic mix of Nollywood and Hollywood productions attracting cinema lovers nationwide.

According to the latest Nigeria Box Office data, the following are the top ten cinemas ranked by ticket sales and revenue in 2025.

Leading the chart is Silverbird Cinemas Ikeja in Lagos, which generated ₦1117332000. With five screens, premium seating, and advanced projection systems, it remains the highest earning cinema in the country.

Closely following is EbonyLife Cinemas Lagos, earning ₦1086316500. Known for its blend of Nollywood, international, and independent films, it operates four screens with premium comfort and sound.

Filmhouse Cinemas Lekki ranks third with ₦1084707650. Featuring six screens and a flagship IMAX auditorium, it remains a top destination for Lagos moviegoers. Filmhouse Surulere follows with ₦662534550, boasting eight screens and strong year round patronage.

Outside Lagos, Genesis Cinemas Port Harcourt leads with ₦586985000, highlighting strong cinema culture in Rivers State. Silverbird Jabi Lake Mall in Abuja recorded ₦486901600, maintaining its status as a key entertainment hub in the capital.

Genesis Festival Mall Lagos earned ₦452873000, while Genesis Benin City generated ₦435216000, reflecting solid regional support. Filmhouse Ikota Lagos posted ₦429540000 in revenue.

Rounding out the top ten is Filmhouse Samonda Ibadan with ₦384761900, underscoring growing demand for premium cinema experiences beyond Lagos.

The figures confirm sustained expansion in Nigeria exhibition market, positioning cinemas as major contributors to the country creative economy.
