Popular gospel musician Moses Bliss has finally spoken out about the rumours surrounding his alleged fallout with his former protégé, Ebuka Songs.
Speculations have been swirling online for months, especially after Ebuka Songs announced his exit from Bliss’ record label, Spotlite Nation. The development sparked various reactions from fans, many of whom questioned if there was tension between the two gospel stars.
However, during a recent interview on the live edition of the ‘WithChude’ podcast, Moses Bliss set the record straight. He described the rumours of a feud as completely false and emphasized that his relationship with Ebuka remains positive.
“Ebuka is a great guy. I think the world has not seen the best of him yet,” Bliss said. “We’re humans, and you feel a certain way if people misconstrue your intentions. But I’m very concerned about impressing God. My intentions are very pure, and everything is born out of love.”
Bliss went on to say that although Ebuka chose to leave the label early — just 11 months into a three-year contract — there are no hard feelings. According to him, Ebuka wanted to focus on doing music on his own, and after praying about it, Bliss supported his decision.
“He is definitely not where he used to be and not how he met us,” he added. “He is doing good for the kingdom and impacting a lot of lives. Seeing just that alone, my joy is full. I don’t care what anybody thinks — I’m rejoicing and rooting for him.”
The statement from Moses Bliss puts to rest the speculation, showing that their parting was peaceful and rooted in mutual respect.
