Lagos State Police Confirms the Death of Ijanikin DPO, CSP Bolaji Olugbenga

The State Police Command has the death of CSP Bolaji Olugbenga, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ijanikin Police . Olugbenga collapsed in on Thursday evening and passed away before he could be transported to a hospital.

This marks the second time within a week that a DPO in Lagos has collapsed and died in the same . The command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident on .

The of Olugbenga’s death has plunged the officers at Ijanikin Police Station into mourning. Sources have indicated that his has been to a mortuary.

Previous Incident Seme DPO
This incident follows the death of Superintendent of Police (SP) Mojeed Salami, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of the Seme in Lagos State Command, earlier in the week. SP Salami also collapsed in his office on Tuesday, 10, and declared dead at the hospital where he was rushed for treatment.

It was reported that Salami felt unwell and had sent his orderly to the Divisional Officer (DCO). Unfortunately, the orderly returned to find him collapsed on the floor, struggling to breathe.
