Kogi Central Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has downplayed the chance of running for governor in 2027.

In a recent interview with Seun Okinbaloye, Natasha revealed that she is more likely to seek re-election to the Senate after consulting with her family and key stakeholders.

She said she is currently in talks with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) about her political future.

“I’m not even promised tomorrow. If I live to see the 2027 election, I may run for the Senate again,” she explained.

She added that her decision depends on the support of her husband and family. “If he agrees, I will take that step. But as for the governorship in 2027, I don’t know and would rather not talk about it.”
